Fashion for Mental Health Awareness.
The summer of Love Fair offically opens tomorrow! All of the items presented in the fair from EVERY brand will be brand new and only sold at this venue, making the SOL fair the place to be throughout July.. I know i shall DEFINATLEY get there! Some of the designers will be donating some of their profits to Hopeline (www.Hopeline.com), but not all of them. This event is for AWARENESS not for CHARITY❤ The purpose of this fair is 1. FASHION. Who doesn’t love a good fashion event? Brand new items, some at discount rates, all in one glorious place. Totalllllly Amazing!. One of the most important reasons though is that there will be information about all sorts of mental health issues and illnesses throughout the venue. Mostly these will be visual aids around the precious couture so that people don’t have to read huge chunks of text. The main purpose of the fair is to de-stigmatise mental health issues. A lot of people in Second Life have unhappy “real lives”… for whatever reason. Some of us are unwell, disabled, depressed and other people are just lonely or don’t like who they think they are; but no one is alone and in SL we can be ourselves. So don’t let it beat you black and blue… couture can help! I think that this Fair is one of the best ideas, not only does it promote my love for fashion but an amazing awareness that is very close to my heart! My lips are sealed on the location of The Summer Of Love Fair. Guess, you’ll just have to keep an eye on this blog 😛 hehe…. I will release the location along with some featured items at the fair at 4pmslt Today! The summer of love fair has a whole variety of your favourite designers brand new items. These items will be available at the fair and nowhere else (at least ’til it’s over). Clothing, skins, hair, poses, accessories and more… Theres got to be something that will make you look totally gorgeous for sure! I AM SO EXCITED! I just cant wait for this event, its what everyone should dream about… especially when it goes to a good cause!.. SO! here are some teasers for those eyes of yours 😛
